Some Little Things I Forget to Enjoy

My English teacher, gave us a writing journal/notebook type thing. And she assigned us to write at least 3 entries into it each weekend. She also gave us a list of topics that we could write about. So, we oculd write about anything that we wanted, pretty much. On the weekend of October 30th, I wrote about some little things that I forget to enjoy. She enjoyed the writing alot, so yea. I thought I'd post it in here.

Some Little Things I Forget To Enjoy by Stephanie C------

I sometimes forget to enjoy strawberry ice cream. Walks on the beach. Dancing in the rain. Playing with my baby cousins. Talking with my friends. Hugging my mom. Eating dinner with my parents. Hot chocolate with marshmellows. Scrambeled eggs. Reading a good book. Swimming. Tanning on the beach. Walking around Somerville with Andrew. Apple pie. Thanksgiving. Taking a hot shower. Diving into the deep end of the pool. Building a sand castle. Catching snowflakes on my tounge. Sitting in laundromats (i love the smell). Shopping. movies. Being alone in my room. Playing man-hunt. Talking to my brothers. Canobie Lake Park. Long car rides. Drawing in the road with chalk. Skateboarding. Sleeping. Writing. Screaming at the top of my lungs. Crying for no reason at all. Running. Not caring what others think. Being hugged by Andrew. Staring at the stars. Eating my dad's famous pizza. The smell of my mom's cooking. The "old" Lincoln Park building. Not caring about ANYTHING. Writing on Mrs. Healey's white board. Being me. Karate. Looking at butterflies. Sewing with my Grama. Going to NASCAR races with my Pepere. Laughing. The crunchy sound of Autumn leaves. Flowers. Talking to my mom about anything. My red hair. My favorite show, Family Guy. Our new TIVO. Yelling at my dad, then saying sorry after. Going up to Camp in the summer. Going to Oma's for Thanksgiving dinner, and Auntie's for dessert. Staring into Andrew's amazing eyes. Getting lost in the moment..and just living!
