What The Heck?

Wow, 8th grade is tougher than I thought it would be. Not only do I have to get up early, but I actually have to go to school and USE MY BRAIN! Jeez, why can't we just be born SMART??

My first class is English. But I enjoy English, it's my favorite subject. And I have a GREAT teacher. So it's all good. My next class is Math. Man, oh, man. Do I hate math!!?? It's just...not fun! LOL! I mean, NOTHING makes sense to me. Mr. Zaya was talking about the Base Ten Theory. And then he started talking about the Base Two Theory. He asked us what comes after one. We all said two, naturally. You know what he said?? "No...there is no two." We were all so confused, it isn't even funny. I mean...we get soooo much homework from him, and the homework is ALWAYS really tough. For example, 4(x + 7c)-6(x + 2b)= ? . It's like...WHAT? LOL, I understand it. But it takes me awhile to figure out a problem. It's soooo complicated. But, I get it sooner or later.

My 3rd period class is Science. Holy crap, if Mr. Dineen got anymore boring, I THINK I MIGHT KILL MYSELF! He's a bald, stalky old guy. Mr. Dineen talks v..e...r..y s..l...o...w! I can actually guess what he's going to say, before he says it. And to top it all off, he repeats himself, constantly over and over and over and over again till we just wanna strangle him.

My 4th period is Civics. Ms.Bakey is nice, but she can be WICKED mean, sometimes. She's kind of boring, but I enjoy her classes. She knows alot of interesting facts and is very involved in current events.

My last class depends on what day it is. On Mondays and Thursdays, I have an EXTRA period of math. On Wednesdays I have a multicultural period. (Where we study the holocost and slavery.) On Tuesdays and Fridays I have a writing class with Ms.Bakey.

I get homework from every subject, almost every day. So I usually get about 1-2 hours of homework. Speaking of homework....I better go do that. Just kidding, I already did it! lol...

Until next time,
Steph

You are so much like me....english equals good, math equals bad. And lets be honest, when we grow up when are we ever going to need to know (let alone care) what the value of 'x' is!! But don't worry, it will get even harder as you get older!
