Overwhelmed.

Right now, I have so much going on it's insane. I thought it was hard to get through middle school, ohh mann. High school is a whole COMPLETELY differant story. Midterms are next week, I've only grazed over my notes. I need to review chapters that I haven't looked at since September, old worksheets I can't remember doing and notes I can barely remember writing. Chapter Review tests are complicated, but 6-7 chapters in one test, that counts for half of my 2nd quarter grade... now that's hard.

You'd think that since we have mid-terms next week, the teachers would be nice to us and not give alot of homework. Not a bit.. they have no mercy at all whatsoever. Just this week, I've typed a four page research paper on starch [biology], taken an 80 question take-home-test [biology], wrote a 2 page portfolio essay[biology], done four 21 question worksheets [2 a night for history], started a 5 paragraph essay [contemporary living] and done numerous other worksheets for Italian, Math and English. It's so hard trying to get all of this done. At least through elementary and middle school, the teachers would meet and organize projects and reports so that not too much was due at once. Now, I just go from class to class hoping that I won't get too much work. I'm trying to make High Honors, again. I'm legit workin my butt off, I can't remember a time in my life when I've ever worked this hard. And to think.. the next FOUR YEARS of my life are going to be like this? Plus the added years of college..? It's...really really hard. I put so much pressure on myself because I want to be somebody.. I don't want to be a slave to my job. I want to love what I do and be happy. But this stress is so horriable. I can barely fall asleep at night because I keep going over my checklist of what's due the next day or in the following week. Thank god I'm grounded for awhile, because the weekends have been extremely useful... even though I stay up till 3 AM getting stuff done.

Whatev... let's just hope I make high honors because I NEED to get out of this house and soon.

Well then.

Um so yea. It's been awhile since I last posted. But it just seems like posting is more like a chore than a leisure, but I feel like writing so I guess I'll do it now.

Since the last time I posted, I've been going to Regina's every weekend. It's basically become my second home. We just got my progress report from school [it comes in the middle of the quarter, just as a warning of what you should work on] and it wasn't the most pleasing experiance. Mom has grounded me for a little bit of time, so I won't have any distractions from school work and cheerleading. God.. report cards don't come out for another 3 weeks. Let's all pray to God that I make high honors because honestly.. I'm going to go insane soon. Mom lets me go out during the days, but that doesn't give me much time, I mean I don't wake up till 12 and I wouldn't be able to meet up with Regina, Alyssa and Alex until about 3 or so. Then get home by 5? UGH, it just sucks really badly. I've never been in this much trouble before.

I'm an idiot and let's just leave it at that.

In the weeks before I got grounded, I was taking TONS of pictures with my new camera that I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH!

Moving on.. during Christmas Vacation I spent alot of time at Regina's house. On a typical night, we would meet up around 5 and go to Mama Gina's for our favorite mozzerella sticks, then walk down the street to Lincoln Park and hang out there till about 8:15. Then if Regina's mom wasn't picking us up, we would walk to the bus stop and take it to a couple streets down from Regina's house.

One night while we were eating, my friend Mikey came in to eat with us. He had a really cool hat that was embroided on the back "Da Ville" which is the nickname for Somerville.

Then, there was a day when Regina, Alyssa, Mikey, Andrew and I all went to the mall. In the Apple [Mac//iPod] Store there are computers where you can take pictures, then send them to your e-mail. So, Mikey, Regina and I decided to take some pictures.

Red Head

Last year when I dyed my hair red, I was going out with Andrew at the time. He nicknamed me Cherry because when I was outside, my hair was the same color as my face (because I was cold) and I looked like a.. [drumroll please] CHERRY!

Ever since then, anyone I've met, has started to call me Cherry. Some people don't even know that my real name is Stephanie! Everyone in my family hates my nickname, but I absolutely love it.. especially since theres like 59480593 Stephanie's in my classes. It makes it a whole lot easier.. some of my teachers call me Cherry and even my cheerleading coaches sometimes forget my real name.

In September, Mom promised me that I could dye my hair red, again, if I got good grades on my report card. Now, if you have been in high school then you know how hard this is.. added the 2 1/2 hour long practices for cheerleading. I basically don't have a life all week, but *thankfully Mom gives me alot of freedom on the weekend and lets me sleep over at Regina's, so I can still spend time with my Biffs [Best friends].
The day before Thanksgiving, we got my report card in the mail. I got 5 A's and 2 B's. HIGH HONORS!!!!! I was soooo happy.. oh mann, this was the first time in a LONG time that I've been on honor roll. I really had worked my butt off, and it showed. =] It only added to it when mom was really really happy and let me sleep at Regina's that night... but also, she had made a promise.. so we talked to Auntie Melissa and decided on a day that I could dye my hair.

I didn't tell anyone at school, [well, I did tell Alyssa and Regina, but that was it], so it was a HUGEEE surprise to everyone when I walked in on Friday with bright red hair. Auntie Melissa also cut and layered it, too.. so it was all pretty and healthy looking.

On Friday night, it was my first basketball game that I was cheering for. It was the Blue vs White Game.. an annual fundraiser held for the SHS basketball team and the SHS cheerleaders. What they do is, they divide up the JV and Varsity basketball teams [boys and girls] into the Blue and White teams and then the Varsity Cheerleaders cheer for blue, and the JV cheer for white. Auntie Megan, Maddie, Colin, Mom and Dad came to watch.. plus all my friends [that Auntie Megan yelled at whenever they called me Cherry].

After the game, Regina, Alyssa, Alex and Mike Shamshak, Carmen, Lexi and I all went back to Lexi's house to hang out. It was ALOOOTT of fun and we took a ton of crazy pictures..



Lol yea.. Regina called me Stephanie, and I turned around shocked, so she took the picture.
